Easter Bunny Blues

Easter Sunday Lola was sick. We were up ALL night Saturday because of her cold. You can tell from her picture at our house how sick she looks! We didn't get to go to church or to Mammaw and Pappaws. Her Easter outfit wasn't even worn!!! Lola and I stayed home the majority of the day. We left for about a half hour so she could get her Easter baskets from Gram and Gramps and her uncles. When we got there my cousin had brought his puppy over. Of course, Lola was in-love! I don't think she's ever met a dog she didn't like...or a potato chip! She is feeling MUCH better today. Thank goodness!

Saturday Night Easter Baskets

Saturday night we celebrated Easter with Nana and Pa, Aunt Cory, Uncle Randy and Charlie. Charlie and Lola played well together and had a great time.

We went to the In*dy Zoo last Friday! We had so much fun that we are thinking about getting season passes. Not everything was open, but Lo loved it anyway. We did have a problem right at the very end. As we were waving bye to the seals one "barked" back. Lola had a mini meltdown. It was so funny that we bought her a stuffed seal at the gift shop *which she loved!

of the live feed on this website, we are probably going to make Lola's blog a private page. Basically, traffic is getting directed here from other pages...and search engines. I have found lots of peoples blogs where we live by just typing in a few details on Google. I really don't mind the lurkers etc, but would like to protect Lola. Just a little busy...

Lola has been "carrying around" different objects for WEEKS. I was hoping this phase would pass, but it looks like it's here to stay. The only reason it bothers me is because it truly makes our house a cluttered mess. Her favorite things to carry are clothes on hangers. Not really sure why, but she picks them up, holds them out, looks at them, and then oooohs and ahhhhs. We bought a present for Miss Emma's fifth birthday. Lo wanted to carry the pants around. I didn't want her to because I didn't want to give Emma a dog haired covered mess...you can see by the picture what happened.

We met Charlie (Aunt Cory and Grandpa were also there) for lunch today! Lola was shy at first, but quickly warmed up. They had fun getting down from the table for a little break and play time.
