Beachy Girl

Lola had FOUR different bathing suits to wear in Florida. A little over-kill, but it worked out nice for as many times as we were in and out of the condo. Putting on a wet bathing suit is no fun. I'm stuck without a camera AGAIN! So the most recent pictures I have are vacation pictures still. Hopefully, my camera is fixed soon!

Pool Time

On vacation Lola, unfortunately, loved the pool more than the beach. She liked playing in the sand, but the pool was much more fun. Oh well, the pool looked out onto the ocean so we could at least pretend when we heard waves that we were in the ocean. Less of a mess anyway...She hated every way of keeping her above the water except for this pool ring. It has NO FEET or SEAT IN IT! We tried it when we hung out at Grammie and Gramps condo about the third day and she was in love. She thought she was a lot more independant than she actually was.

We were soooo hot by this time. I had never seen Lola's hair wet from sweating before! It got really curly. Kind of cute, actually! The bottom picture Lola was eating a Shamu icecream. We had to buy two because the first one fell into the water. She was one sad girl until she got her second one!

Dinner Vacation Style

We went our for dinner every night when we were on vacation! Lo had icecream out almost every night too, sometimes before dinner even! That's what vacations are for, right?

Our flight left for Florida at 7 am. I thought getting up at 3 am to get everyone out of the house would be awful, but it turned out alright. I was blow drying my hair at 330 am and Lola walked into the bathroom and said "HI!". I guess she knew we were up early for a good reason!

Feeding Sharks!

We had sooo much fun at Sea World in September! Lola was perfect and had a lot of fun seeing all of the exhibits. Too bad the heat index was 106! We fed the sharks. It was fun, but Lola agreed that the dead fish that we threw were "gack" (yuck!).

New Friend

We found this toad in the yard in August. He was around for a couple of weeks, but then disappeared. Lola loved watching him, however, when I said that he was going to get her toes she had a melt down. Lesson learned.
