Birthday Parties

We had two birthday parties last week. Cousin Maya turned 4. Gramps also had a birthday!

Fall Clothes

I forgot to add yesterday that Lola went to the doctor for her regular check-up. She weighs 21 lbs 2 oz. She is 28 1/2 inches long. The doctor said she looks great and is doing all of the things she should be. Yea!

Backpacking

If you know Lola, you know that she has NEVER liked anything that you put her in. For example: bouncy seat, Maya wrap, snuggler, 2 different strollers, carseat, etc. My neighbor has a backpack for her son. She swore that Lola would love it. I was hesitant to buy it because I thought I'd be returning it. Turns out, she LOVES it! Too bad we look so silly carting her around it. I don't really take her out in public in it, but it is great to vacuum, wash dishes, and fold laundry while she is in it! We are also taking it to the beach with us. Hopefully, she will like it there also. Please pray for a safe trip for us (we all know I'm not a fan of flying)! Also, Charlie is sick again...baby prayers for him.

Update

I haven't updated because Lola had the flu last week...and we are all still recovering. I ended up catching it...along with, Dustin, Grammie, Grampie, and Uncle Kerry!!!!! Lola still isn't feeling all that great so we are going back to the doctor in the morning. My poor baby. We all said that if we could we would take it from her so that she wouldn't be sick anymore...boy, did we regret that!! Hopefully, she will be better soon because we are going on vacation in a few days! Yea! Lola has also started crawling...so fun and tiring! I will post pictures/video and an update tomorrow
