Sick Babe

Lola went to the doctor today. She has an ear infection AND an eye infection. I was tempted to wait one more day, but with the snow storm on the way...I thought we should go. It was a good thing! She is miserable. She had her first fever ever. It ranged from 101-103 for two nights. It's been awful. Dustin had to work so Grammie had to come over at midnight to call me down...and then back again at 530 am so I could run to the store for more medicine and a better thermometer. Fevers are scary stuff...

Oh My Goodness!

I walked back into the room yesterday and Miss LO had figured out how to climb in my rocker...This photo isn't staged. She really was pointing the controller at the t.v.! Funny girl. She has been climbing like crazy. Usually Max is her step stool onto the couch, but she did this on her own.

SO Proud of Our Cousin Brad

Stacking Cans...Yes, we know they sell stacking boxes. In fact, she has them at her Nana's and her Grammies. Our house we play with cans! Cans=less mess to pick up everyday! Besides...Lo thinks she's doing something sneaky when she's playing with them.

Check out this link/video http://www.wthr.com/Global/story.asp?s=7386616 You have to go to where the little video screen is. Click on "Italian Cooking". That's our cousin Brad with Treeboy!! Pretty neat!

Yes, we really are this weird!

PS-the quality isn't that great and ignore the messy floor. If you have a toddler at home, you probably won't notice the mess!

Lola's Favorite Twin Friends

Lola had a fun time playing with our friend's twins on Friday night. She was a little bossy. At one point, Blake was playing with a toy and Lo plopped down on his lap so she could play with it. The boys were adorable as always. Saturday, we had a birthday party. Dru turned 3! (of course, we forgot the camera at home!)

Slacking

Lo's -not so lucky- Colt's shirt!

How big are you?!?! "Soooooo BIG!"
We know that we have been slacking when it comes to this blog. Lola keeps up VERY busy. Still waiting on uploading the birthday pictures. I actually only took 7 or 8 pictures because I was busy doing other things at her party. If any of you took pictures I would LOVE to have them =) Lola is almost finished with her bottle. She only gets it at night. I'm hoping to take it away completely tomorrow or Wednesday. I feel bad, but it is time. She is a big, little girl now.

Lovin' it!

Lo got this chair for Christmas from her Grammy and Grampy. She really thinks she is something when she sits in it. Imagine that!

More Backyard Friends!! woo hoo

Today Lola and I had a blast watching our new/old friends in the backyard. We usually only see two deer early in the morning hours, but today we had THREE bucks and THREE doe. It was around noon even! They were so close that at one point we couldn't see them anymore because they were up against our fence. Very exciting.

Santa came to town!

We had a great Christmas. Lola was so much fun. She liked opening presents, but was over it by Christmas Day. Santa came to our house about a week before Christmas. We decided to let Lola open a present or two everyday before Christmas so that she wouldn't be so overwhelmed Christmas Day. Needless to say, she was overwhelmed anyway. Everyone is so good to Lola and she is so lucky to have such a wonderful family! We had five different Christmas's with...I'll try to post one picture from each.

Happy New Year!

I wish you sunshine on your path and storms to season your journey. I wish you peace-in the world in which you live and in the smallest corner of the heart where truth is kept. I wish you faith-to help you define your living and your life. More I cannot wish you-except perhaps Love-to make all the rest worthwhile.
