All in a Day. 7 Weeks Old

Lola's new toys. Wrist rattles. We love watching her try to figure out how to make them rattle.

One of my FAVORITE things to do when Lola is sleeping...rest my cheek on her soft little head.

This is what Lola looks like when we take her bottle away to burp her. I always have to kiss her when she's mad because she is still soo cute.

Boppy Fun

Lola LOVES watching her Sweetie Pie Puppy

Yes, we know it's a boy's shirt...but we couldn't resist.

::Little Update:: Lola is now sleeping really well at night. It's only been about a week, so I don't want to brag too much yet. She goes to bed in between 8 and 9. I wake her up at midnight or so to change her diaper and she usually falls back asleep until 530 or 6. Then we wake up and feed her and she goes back to bed until 930 or 10. It's amazing what 5 hours of sleep all at once will do for you.

Evolution of a SMILE and 1 month check up(5 weeks)

Could start crying...could start smiling...

Almost there...

Don't you just LOVE it?!?!

Ahhh...
Lola had her check up today. She weighs 9 lbs 13 oz and they didn't tell us how long. The nurse DID say that she is very long for a baby that is only 5 weeks. Why she is long, I don't know..considering we are not tall. She's holding up her head perfectly and doing everything that one month olds are supposed to do. Eating, sleeping, crying, going to the bathroom, smiling...etc.
