It's Memorial Day. We went to see Grandma and Grandpa Bell...and Mammaw came over!
Gram and Grampy
Riding on the "unicorn" at the Flagpole...
Whenever we went to the lake as kids (and still even now) we would stop at an icecream parlor to get a snack because it was the half way point between the lake and Lafayette. Following tradition we made the stop with Lola.
Not so sure about this taste of icecream
mmmm....delicious!!
Posing in the chair...
Daddy putting Lola in the water for a minute. She liked it, but was a little confused.
playing toys at the lake
Hanging out on the couch at the lake.
We took Lola to the lake for the first time Monday afternoon/Tuesday evening. She had a blast and so did we.

What a WEEK!
Playing in the exersaucer at her Gram's outside...she loves it!
Still working on rolling over..almost there...
Sorry for the lack of pictures/posting. I haven't been feeling that great and we've been really busy. Lola tried cereal for the first time. We said we were going to wait. However, the day we went to the doctor she quit sleeping through the night! We were jinxed! She doesn't think much of the cereal, but is getting used to it.

Doctor Day 4 months
Good thing Lola had no idea we were heading to the doctor.
ouchies
Relaxin'
Jammies ON...after a long day...
Lola got an excellent report today. She now weighs 16lbs and 6oz. She is 25 inches long. We got the "ok" to start her on solids, but we are going to wait a couple more weeks to start her on cereal. I guess some doctors say 6 months, but our doctor says that the "official guidelines" are 4-6 months. She said that since she is meeting every milestone we can do what we want as long as she has doubled her birth weight (which she definitely has). They also say that if babies aren't sleeping through the night they aren't getting enough to eat during the day. Lola has slept through the night forever...and now she sleeps from 8pm or so until 7 or 730am. Not sleeping through the night is another reason to start solids, but since she is doing fine with her sleeping now, we have chosen to wait. Yea Lola!! She got three shots and an oral vac. Poor baby, but she seems fine now.

I wear my sunglasses...

This picture was taken with Dustin's camera phone so it's not that great...but you get the idea. Lola gets her shots Tuesday. Cross your fingers for her that it doesn't hurt too bad.

Lola Laughing (sound ON)
We finally caught Lola's laugh on video. She will only laugh at you if you act like a complete dork, but it's worth it!
