A Day of FIRSTS!

Lola will NOT smile for the camera anymore. She is too set on trying to figure out how it works and waiting for the flash to go off. Oh well, atleast you can see how cute her outfits are!

Look at ME! 15 1/2 weeks!!

Being in her exersaucer makes her really tired. Sometimes she will suck her thumb and try to play with the toys at the same time. Too cute!


::Update:: Lola had a great physical therapy appointment on Thursday. She will only have to go a few more times. We are sooo excited and thankful. Lola is also making a new grunting noise. It's LOUD and it gets louder the more she does it. It reminds me of the movie Dumb and Dumber (I think) "you want to hear the most annoying noise in the world?" "uhahuhahuhahuhah!!!" Church should be fun tomorrow if she remembers that she can make it again. It has been a two day noise so far, so I don't think it's going anywhere. Lola has also started sucking her thumb. I discouraged it at first, but it is really cute. As long as they stop the thumb sucking by 5 years old it doesn't affect their teeth. (Our main concern) We have tried everything to get her to take a paci, but she REFUSES to. Dustin had a great time in Florida, but was glad to be home. We are glad to have him home again...safe. Lola was so happy to see her Daddy that she wouldn't go to bed while he was holding her.

Update

I most likely will not be posting any pictures until atleast Thursday. Dustin is in Florida this week and I had dental work done. Yuck. Just wanted to let you all know that we are ok, just going to be very busy this week!

When I am cooking Lola LOVES to play with a package of noodles...silly girl! I took her to med express this morning and they just told me to wait it out. She definitely feels worse today. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

Lola woke up this morning at 330 am which is very unlike her. She ate and went back to bed. When she woke up at 800 she had a runny nose. At therapy her nose was running even more. Tonight she has a cold...Poor Lola

Lola started laughing out loud this week. We tried to catch it on video, but this is what happened...

Little Update

Lola had physical therapy today. She got a pretty good report. She is looking to the left A LOT more. Her head is starting to round out, and she STILL hates tummy time! It's ok though because she does so well on so many other things and we LOVE her the way she is! Stubborn and all. Lola was fussy towards the end, but one hour of tough stretching and playing can be a lot on a little baby. I chose to stick up for her and end her therapy session a little early. She normally HATES her car seat and almost exactly when I put her in it to leave she fell asleep. We are to continue doing the stretches and exercises at home. We also have a standing appointment of Thursday mornings. Luckily it's only one day a week. We have so much to be thankful for...seeing the other little ones there with major problems really makes you stop and think. Anyhow, in other news...she's growing like a weed. She will be three months old in a couple days. It's really hard to believe, but bittersweet. She no longer wants to be held like the little baby she is, but she wants to sit straight up in your lap. She'll let you know about it too. =)
