Snowball Fights and Poker Nights

We didn't want to take Lola out into the snow, so we brought a snowball into her. She didn't really want to touch it. The first thing she actually tried to do was eat it. I let her taste it. You can tell by the look on her face what she thought! It was also our turn to host poker night. Lola wanted nothing to do with going to bed. She just wanted to hang out with the guys!

Nightly Fun (Sound ON!)

Lola and Sweetie play this game almost every night. AND Lola has said her first "official" word other than mama and dada. :::DrumROLL::: It's "wee wee". We call Sweetie "weet, weet" for short sometimes. Lo has turned it into wee wee. Nice, huh?

Lots of FUN...

We had lots of fun on Thanksgiving. Dustin and Lola spent the mid-morning in Frankfort. Lola spent the afternoon in Lafayette. Dustin had to work at 2:45 am Friday! They had a great time in Frankfort, but forgot to take pictures!!!! It's alright though because when I went to take Lola's picture with her OWN turkey (also known as a hen) she was extrememly grouchy and tried to knock it off the high chair. Soooo...that is why she has on a Christmas shirt because the Thanksgiving pictures were taken a couple days late. Whew! She also had a turkey cake for dessert! Lucky girl! We also celebrated my 26th birthday this week.

Our Lola and Sweetie are together more now than ever. All day long...they play and play! In other news, Lola has another tooth!! That makes seven total...yea!

Smiling Baby

We took Lola to the doctor today. She's had a cold that won't go away. This is usually a pretty good indication/indicator/whatever! that it's turned into an ear infection...I was right! The doctor thinks it was probably just "left over" from her one in October. In other exciting news...LOLA has OFFICIALLY started to walk. She doesn't walk full time, but she definitely is taking steps and walking across the room.

IF you don't LOVE dogs you will probably find this video somewhat disturbing, but this has become an every day occurance in our house. The dogs have NEVER bothered Lola while she eats...until she started feeding them one day.

Baby Legs

I bought Lola these Baby Legs a few weeks back. We LOVE them. I like to let her crawl around without her jeans on...just seems more comfy. With winter coming I was afraid her little legs would be cold. Now I don't have to worry!

Puppy Girl

Happy Halloween (late)! Lola was not a big fan of Halloween. She hated her costume. She didn't like getting her nose painted either. Being an All American Mutt is hard work for a little girl! She did LOVE the presents she got AND getting to see her cousins (and the rest of the family) PS The devils pitch fork belongs to cousin Maya! Of course, Lola loved it.

So glad to be home from the hospital! I missed my Lola and house (and Dustin and my family!) more than I could have ever imagined! What did I do before Lola?

Busy As USUAL!!

Charlie was in town for the weekend. Lo got to spend all day with him Saturday! She had a blast playing and copying everything he did. Emma and Maya also visited and she had lots of fun with them as well! It's fun to see Lo with other kids, as it doesn't happen that often. Monday night we carved pumpkins. Lola wanted NOTHING to do with it. You can see how ever so thrilled she looks in the pictures (insert EXTREME sarcasm) She hated it so much that we couldn't even stage pictures!!!
